Well, you've probably been wondering why LINMOC have been so quiet recently...we've been busy beavering away in the studio and now have 6 tracks completed for the album with 5 more in production. The tunes are of course great - some you know and some never heard before! We're taking time out over Christmas but are returning to playing live in January. Watch this space for dates! We're playing live in Uddevalla as part of the World Children's day gala hosted by Swedens radio network SR. We'll be performing 3 - 5 songs which will be simultaniously broadcast live on P4! The event takes place on the 7th of October.

We are pleased to announce that we have found and enlisted a new drummer (instead of the crappy digital one we've had for about a year now). His name is Marcus, and besides being damn skilled with the sticks he is also absolutely crazy, which is pretty much what you want in a drummer (think Tommy Lee, Phil Collins and that furry guy from The Muppet Show). Did I mention he's English? Well he is. Anyway, this is going to be something of a new start for the band, so stay tuned for more updates coming shortly.

We have taken a break from recording and mixing our upcoming album to do a show at Club Gimmick, Henriksberg, Gothenburg, on the 30th of April. Check out the "shows" section for more information and a link to the clubs website.

We are very proud to tell you that LoveIsNotMyOnlyCrime is included in the new photo book "I Take Pictures: Photographic Pictures" by Fredrik J E Svensson. This book contains over 240 pages and 500 images, all shot by Mr Svensson himself during the past ten years. The purpose of the book is to remember the performances you might have attended or wish you could have attended and at the same time make a contribution towards the battle against cancer - all proceeds will be donated to Cancerfonden in Sweden.
The first edition of the book also includes a CD with music from some of the artists in the book. LoveIsNotMyOnlyCrime is contributing with the song "A New Years Resolution" which is an unreleased demo.

In order to celebrate the ucoming release of the book, there will be a party/photo exhibition over at Musikens Hus in Gothenburg this Sunday. Be sure to drop by if you're in the neighbourhood! It's free, you know :)

For a while now, we've been playing a cover version of the Pet Shop Boys song Love Comes Quickly at our live shows. We have now recorded it for the album, and a roughly mixed version is now available for streaming at our MySpace site.

We are currently in the recording studio, working on our first album which will hopefully be released in the spring of 2009. At the moment we have 2 songs more or less finished, you can check out the rough mixes of them at our MySpace site.

There is a videoclip of us performing our brand new song "The First Time" on YouTube, recorded 2008-08-01 at Klubb Existens in Gothenburg. The picture and sound quality isn't that good, but it still gives a pretty good indication of what type of sound we are moving towards. Check it out here.
